What Is This Site?

Contraband4all is an accessible learning hub related to politics, social issues, and other stuff later. This is mostly a library of my own research papers, essays, and "101 basics", as well as writing, videos, and public resources published by others.

The writing and media I post here are meant to be as low-barrier as possible. I hope that this site can be a helpful resource for anyone, with any level of education or contextual knowledge, interested in self-education and radicalization.

While I will be posting some writing that includes my personal opinion (and notes throughout pages that add a little fun personal flair), this site is stricly for learning! If you want to get to know me, check the ME tab on the homepage, thats my personal page/ blog!

Why Did I Create This Site?
"I can have conversations about my values or beliefs with people who share my opinion, but I feel like I'm in an echochamber, don't fully understand what some of my peers bring to the conversation, or only feel comfortable discussing issues that impact those who relate to my experience."

"I know I believe that capitalism is harmful, but I don't have the language/ factual evidence/ basic understanding of current or past events to debate the issue with a frat boy at a party because his ignorance is louder than my argument, and I am destined to be a pwned blue hair liberal :("

HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO YOU??

Thoughts like these cross my mind all the time!

Our social and political climate is extremely complex and, therefore, very difficult to understand. While I am confident in my beliefs, values, and political identity, I have found that the combination of thousands of years of context, radical texts being long and using difficult language, the exhaustion of everyday life, and the rapid acceleration of change has made it so I am not confident in my understanding of some of the basic elements involved in common political discussion.

When I went on my summer break from college this year (2026), I started writing personal essays with the goal of developing a confident understanding of these contexts. I told my roommates about my summer project, and they were very excited and wanted to learn with me. This inspired me to start Contraband4all, and now here we are!

What Are My Credentials?

I don't have any!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All writing posted that was written by me was written for personal fun and on my personal time. However, I am currently in college studying social services, working towards a bachelor's degree in social work. I am extremely passionate about social issues, politics, and accessible education, so this site is both a personal archive and a public resource!

I believe that, while professional education on the subjects discussed on this site is an asset to radicalization, lived experience and self-education is just as if not more essential in developing a deep understanding of social issues and a well-rounded, confident personal opinion.

PLEASE NOTE!! I am not an expert on anything (on this site or in the whole world) and I am not claiming to be! I may get things wrong, you may disagree with my opinions, you may feel that my writing is stupid dumb bad. Please let me know in my guestbook if I made a factual error, if you have a question about anything in my writing, if something on the site is not accessible for you (ie. lanaguage, context, readability), or if you want to discuss an opposing view in a productive way.
